As part of Cantox, she will continue to work closely with researchers from academia, government bodies and industry to collaborate and enrich internal resources.
Dr. Hearty held the position of Project Manager on an ongoing EU 7th-Framework funded project assessing exposure to flavourings, additives and food contact materials (FACET) involving 20 partners across the EU. Prior to this, she was a Senior Research Nutritionist for the Irish Universities Nutrition Alliance, where she was involved in both EU-funded and nationally-funded projects related to dietary intakes and food chemical exposure assessments.
