Aker BioMarine reorganizes, set to launch Australian company

Aker BioMarine has established a global marketing group to support all sales units and hired a managing director for the Australian market.

To strengthen, harmonize and improve overall efforts on marketing activities supporting sales, Aker BioMarine has established a global marketing group that will support all the sales units. The group will, in close discussion with the sales teams, develop and execute these marketing plans.

The group will be headed by Eric Anderson, who up to this point has been heading Aker BioMarine in the U.S. Eric will continue to direct the marketing effort in the U.S. as Superba brand manager. Aker is in the process of staffing this group with additional resources as the need demands.

Todd Norton, who has been vice president of business development in U.S., will take over the leadership of Aker BioMarine in the U.S. Although Eric still will contribute to the U.S. market, this will not be his main focus, and we will hence also look into new hiring for the U.S. market for sales.

These changes will take place Oct. 1.

The Australian market has so far been headed and developed by the U.S. organization, but as a result of the fantastic development in Australia, the company has hired Lalen Dogan as a managing director for the Australian market and to head the Australian company being set up. Lalen is an Australian, living in the Melbourne area and has long experience in the industry. Lalen will start working for Aker BioMarine Oct. 15.
