Algry Quimica signs new R&D agreements

Madrid (Spain), 27.01.04 - Algry Quimica (, Spanish manufacturer of pharma and food grade choline salts confirmed today that it has signed several new research cooperation agreements with the University of Castilla la Mancha (Spain) for the development of several active ingredients for pharma and food applications, for launch in 2004 and 2005.

The company, which specializes in the unencapsulated choline salts sector, is expanding its current product portfolio with several active ingredients to be developed in the next two years in collaboration with the Inorganic, Organic and Biochemistry Department at Castilla la Mancha University. The ingridents are to be manufactured at Algry Quimica's facility in southern Europe.

The company also announced that it is expecting an increase on its net sales in their core business of unencapsulated cholines in 2004, due to several marketing and distribution agreements reached with food and pharma companies worldwide.
