Javier Sanchez Solano has recently been hired as Plant Operations Manager, responsible for the entire Mexico operation including a work force of more than 250 employees and Aloecorp’s 1,400 acres of Aloe fields containing 9 million Aloe vera plants.

His leadership and expertise is integral to the ultimate success of the entire company through his management of a successful aloe farm and recently upgraded raw materials processing plant.”
Sanchez brings vast international experience to the Aloecorp team, with more than a 23 year manufacturing career involving the food and beverage industries in various countries. Career highlights include his position as General Manager at Weaver Popcorn Co. in Argentina, Plant Manager for The Kroger Company’s Ralphs Grocery Co. in California, Plant Manager and Operations Director for Ruiz Foods in California, Senior Technical Consultant for Latin America Resources in Mexico, Exports Manager for Vicksa International Group in Mexico and Financial Services Manager at Ralston Purina in Mexico.

Sanchez holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a major in Industrial Engineering from Celaya Tech in Mexico.
Aloecorp’s other appointment involves the hiring of Robert Espinoza to the position of Quality Assurance Manager at its newly expanded Lyford, Texas state-of-the-art aloe processing and manufacturing facility. He will report to Ken Jones, Director of Research and Development for Aloecorp, located in the company’s Lacey, Washington headquarters.
According to Jones, “The Aloe Industry is highly competitive with quality as a key differentiating factor. Through Robert’s skillful quality and product development experience Aloecorp will continue to raise the quality bar for the industry in producing the highest quality Aloe vera raw materials in the world.”
Espinoza is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. He has ten years of product research and development experience, and was most recently employed with DPT Laboratories, a product development, manufacturing, packaging and distribution health products company located in San Antonio, Texas.
