American College of Nutrition and CBNS Review Seminar Comes to Southern California

Los Angeles, CA, August 2, 2004 - The American College of Nutrition and the CBNS (Certification Board for Nutrition Specialists) are offering a review course on the fundamentals of human nutrition, presented by Michael J. Glade, Ph.D., FACN, LD, CNS. The course is designed to assist in the preparation for the CBNS certifying examination for the title CNS (Certified Nutrition Specialist). The review is structured around the CBNS study guide and topics covered will include:

  • Basic Organic Chemistry and Nutrition Biochemistry
  • Alimentary and Digestive Anatomy & Physiology
  • Nutrient Standards and Food Guides
  • Impact of the Life Cycle on Nutritional Requirements
  • Nutritional and Metabolic Disorders

The course review will take place at the Hilton in Long Beach, California on September 27-29, 2004 (Monday ¡V Wednesday). The CBNS exam is to be held on Thursday, September 30, 2004, at the same location.
