Best Formulations Receives TGA Certification

City of Industry, CA, September 18, 2007 — Best Formulations has received the acceptance of TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) Certification for the compliance of manufacturing standards established under the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing. Founder and President Charlie Ung described the TGA Certification as “another important milestone” and praised his “entire team’s commitment to quality.”

The TGA Certification puts Best Formulations in an elite group of manufacturers who have passed the rigorous quality standards of the Australian government to manufacture and export “medicinal products” to Australia. The TGA Certification is also recognized and accepted by other governments worldwide.

According to Nighat Ansari, Vice President of Quality Operations, “the TGA audits are on par with U.S. pharmaceutical audits. They do a very thorough job of evaluating your manufacturing facility, engineering, cleanliness, SOPs, and Quality Systems to ensure product integrity.”

“Most manufacturers aren’t TGA Certified because of the effort and expense in doing so. However, since we already have a drug license and operate under GMP guidelines, the TGA certification process was relatively simple. Plus, the TGA certificate allows us to grow into the expanding international markets” added Robin Koon, Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing.

Best Formulations is a contract manufacturer of softgels, tablets, capsules, powders, and teas. In addition to this TGA certification, Best Formulations is NPA GMP Certified and has an FDA Drug License to manufacture pharmaceutical products.
