BI Nutraceuticals has added a new team member, Alison Raban, a Food Technologist charged with product development and creating custom solutions for BI's food and beverage clients. Alison's expertise spans both the QA/QC and R&D areas and she has a unique understanding of the most pressing challenges impacting today's food and beverage manufacturers.
"Alison's experience in managing food and beverage product development from pilot stage to full scale production makes her a strong resource for BI's food and beverage customers," stated Walter Postelwait, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, BI Nutraceuticals. Prior to joining BI Nutraceuticals, Raban worked as a Product Development Technologist for Big Train Inc., where she developed a wide range of dry beverage bases for use in food service, as well as retail. She has also held positions as Product Development Scientist and Quality Assurance Chemist with Flavor Infusion LLC, where she specialized in beverage development, as well as managed extensive quality testing for all finished products. Raban holds a BS in Chemistry from California Polytechnic State University.
