BI Nutraceuticals' UltraHD High Density Powders Obtain Registered Trademark Status

LONG BEACH, Calif., Nov. 5, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- BI Nutraceuticals (BI), one of the world's leading suppliers of dietary supplement ingredients to nutritional supplement, pharmaceutical and food ingredient manufacturers, today announced the new registered trademark status for its UltraHD(r) brand of high density powders and teas. The dense herbal powders increase flexibility and enhance versatility in product formulation. The new product line is marketed under the UltraHD or UHD (Ultra - High - Density) trade name.

The patented UltraHD process, developed and implemented by BI, has been successfully used by the company for both herbal powders and nutritional supplements, and alters the physical character of the botanical powders without altering the product's potency or chemical constituents. This physical alteration is achieved without the use of fillers or excipients, resulting in pure, flowable and more compressible powders.
