BIOSECUR LAB, Inc., a privately held, Canadian-based company specializing in the research and development of natural antimicrobial products, and Sharon Laboratories, Ltd., a producer of preservative solutions, today announced that the companies have entered into an agreement through which Sharon Laboratories will exclusively represent BIOSECUR C160S Preservative for manufacturers of personal care products worldwide.
Sharon Laboratories and its global network of representatives will now distribute BIOSECUR C160S Preservative in its original concentrate formula and in a variety of proprietary formulations, named Sharon Biomix blends, for the conventional, green, and organic manufacturing sectors.
"This marks an historic step in the manufacture of organic and natural personal care products around the world,” said BIOSECUR LAB founder and President Yves Methot. "Not only does our partnership with Sharon Laboratories give our preservative products global reach, it also serves as a significant endorsement of our BIOSECUR C160S Preservative product in the personal care market."
BIOSECUR LAB designed its BIOSECUR C160S Preservative compound for manufacturers of personal care products who want a high-performance preservative that is organic and natural. It can replace chemicals in beauty and personal hygiene products, including perfumes, make-up, hair and skin care offerings, creams, lotions, deodorants, shaving preparations, ear drops, foot care treatments, first aid solutions, sunscreens, wet wipes, and many other offerings.
All BIOSECUR products are manufactured in GMP production facilities, Certified Organic by Ecocert and NOP/USDA, and have earned Self-affirmed GRAS (Generally Regarded as Safe) Status in 41 out of 43 FDA food categories.
“Sharon Laboratories is an ideal partner for BIOSECUR LAB, and we look forward to helping our customers in the personal care industry expand their offerings across a range of product lines,” said Methot.
“We have very positive expectations for this partnership and look forward to a bright future together,” said Sharon Laboratories General Manager Assaf Burstein.
