LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 2, 2002--CANON COMMUNICATIONS LLC has announced an innovative redirection in its plans to serve the U.S. nutraceuticals market. The first step in this new strategy will occur June 2-4 in New York, with the introduction of an Ingredients Expo(TM) at EastPack 2003. The exposition will feature leading ingredients suppliers to the food, beverage, personal care, nutraceuticals, and cosmetic markets -- principal sectors in attendance at EastPack.
"EastPack is a great platform from which to serve the nutraceuticals market," said Diane O'Connor, CANON's Tradeshow Director. "The addition of ingredients suppliers to the show's extensive group of processing and packaging exhibitors means nutraceutical buyers can source the full range of products and services in one place."
EastPack typically attracts more than 5,000 decision-makers from the world's foremost cosmetic/personal care, food and beverage, and nutraceuticals/pharmaceutical companies. The addition of Ingredients Expo will provide an added attraction to product developers, brand managers, purchasing and marketing staff from key attending companies. Among the companies sending buying teams in the past have been: Avon, Bristol-Meyers Squibb, Colgate-Palmolive, Coty, Elizabeth Arden, Estee Lauder, Frito Lay, Hershey Foods, Kellogg's, Kraft Foods, Nabisco, Land O Lakes, L'Oreal, Johnson & Johnson, Kimberly Clark, M&M Mars, Nestle, Pepperidge Farms, Pepsi Cola, Pillsbury, Proctor & Gamble, Quaker Oats, Ralston Foods, Revlon, Roche Vitamins, Solgar, The Vitamin Shoppe, Unilever, Upjohn, and Whole Foods.
