Cargill’s new white paper on Xtend® sucromalt is a comprehensive response to many requests from food formulators and healthcare professionals who are looking for “better-for-you” and more versatile alternatives to common carbohydrate sweeteners. Sucromalt, novel carbohydrate syrup, has great potential because its functional properties are similar to other sweetener syrups yet it has less impact on blood glucose fluctuations after eating.
