Carlson Laboratories Announces 2nd Annual Fish Oil Recipe Contest

The fish oil recipe contest is back! For the second year in a row, Carlson Laboratories is inviting all creative cooks to send in their favorite recipe using Carlson liquid Norwegian Fish Oil, to be entered to win one of three cash prizes.

Kirsten Carlson, Marketing Manager at Carlson Laboratories, commented, “The fish oil recipe contest was such a great success last year that we decided to promote it again in 2010. We received so many delicious recipes using our Norwegian oils, we’re really looking forward to what everyone comes up with this year. Beginning in May, our newest marine oil, CalaOmega, will also be available in a delicious lemon-flavored liquid!”

John Carlson, President of Carlson Laboratories, continued, “Fish oils are a great way to receive the omega-3’s needed for overall good health. Many people know that, but don’t realize that fish oil can taste good as well. Our fish oils have been awarded the prestigious Superior Taste Award from the International Taste and Quality Institute’s panel of top European chefs, sommeliers and beverage experts. We’d like this contest to promote awareness of the health benefits of fish oils and the great taste of Carlson Norwegian fish oil products.”

Contest details can be found at Contest runs from April 1, 2010 through July 31, 2010. Entries must be received by July 31, 2010 and be original, unpublished and include at least 2 tablespoonfuls of a Carlson liquid Norwegian Fish Oil product and serve four people.
