Carmina to Demonstrate ASSUR Technology at International Food Technology Expo in Chicago July 13 to 17, 2003

CALGARY, Alberta--July 9, 2003--Carmina Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:CARL) announced that Carmina's ASSUR-FQP (Food Quality Protection) Technology will be on display at the International Food Technology Expo in Chicago July 13 to 17, 2003.
Companies involved in the international agri-food industry are invited to visit the adjacent booths of Guelph Food Technology Centre (GFTC) and Carmina to learn how the new automated HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) protocol can assist in assuring the integrity and reputation of their products. The ASSUR-FQP protocol has been developed by Carmina in co-operation with GFTC to provide clients with data gathering and analysis capabilities in real-time to head off possible recalls with attendant damage to the client and its brands.
