ChromaDex, Platinum Performance partner on equine supplement

Equine supplement features ChromaDex's novel ingredient pTeroGold that was launched earlier this month.

ChromaDex Corp. (OTCBB: CDXC), an innovative natural products company and marketer of patented pTeroPure, today announced that they have formed an exclusive collaboration with Platinum Performance to create Platinum Longevity. This equine supplement features ChromaDex's novel ingredient pTeroGold that was launched earlier this month.

pTeroGold is a blend of pTeroPure and ChromaDex's Curcumin. pTeroPure is a proprietary formulation of the antioxidant compound pterostilbene, which is found naturally in blueberries and has been shown to be up to seven times more bioavailable than resveratrol, another well-known compound with antioxidant activity. Curcumin is an antioxidant naturally found in turmeric and has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties. Platinum Longevity, with pTeroGold's powerful antioxidants, supports the horse's ability to cope with oxidative stress and helps support healthy levels of inflammation.

"Platinum Longevity has the potential to greatly benefit the health and performance of equine and companion animals," said Mark Herthel, President and Co-founder of Platinum Performance. "After an initial pilot study demonstrated significant, positive results in horses, we decided to move forward with the development of Platinum Longevity and will initiate a larger clinical study this year."

"Equine health is a new avenue for ChromaDex and we are thrilled to collaborate with Platinum Performance, an exceptional industry-leading partner," said Ann Deren-Lewis, Vice President of Marketing for ChromaDex. "Both Platinum Performance and ChromaDex embody similar corporate values, serving as trusted sources that provide novel solutions for comprehensive health and well-being. This combination of shared values will allow us to offer high-quality products that promote optimal equine health."
