La Grange, Ill., Oct. 17, 2005 – Cognis Nutrition & Health, the world’s largest producer of natural plant sterols and sterol esters, will unveil its expanded Vegapure® phytosterol product line at this year’s SupplySide West trade show.
Cognis will also introduce its new Xangold® 30% natural lutein esters oils for high dosage capsules. This new ingredient is designed to help formulators boost the amount of lutein in their supplements without increasing capsule size.
SupplySide West attendees are invited to visit Cognis booth# 4001 to learn more about these products and to hear about the latest science and marketing news that continues to make Tonalin® the #1 selling brand of CLA.
On display at the booth will be information on Cognis’ extensive line of non-GM ingredients, including seven new non-GM, natural-source vitamin E oils for dietary supplements and functional foods.
“This event provides an outstanding opportunity for our team to meet in-person with customers and prospects about ingredients news, marketing ideas and scientific developments that will give them competitive advantages in an increasingly challenging marketplace,” said Christine Peggau, Cognis’ Global Market Segment Manager, Dietary Supplements.
Cognis, the official sponsor of the SupplySide West education sessions, is presenting a special VendorWorks seminar, “How Science and Marketing Can Drive Sales of Phytosterols Products to Record Levels,” on Thursday, Nov. 10 from 9:00 to 9:50 a.m. in room #2002 in the Venetian Hotel & Sands Expo. Attendees providing a business card at the conclusion of the session will be sent a copy of the presentation on a free flash drive. A complimentary continental breakfast will be served nearby.
