WASHINGTON, D.C., December 6, 2005 — The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), one of the dietary supplement industry’s leading trade associations, today announced the addition of Joe Gooding to the CRN staff. Mr. Gooding joins the staff as vice president, finance and administration.
In his new position, Mr. Gooding will be responsible for the financial management of CRN and will supervise the administrative operations of the association.
Mr. Gooding has over 20 years of experience in the financial management field, most recently serving as principal of his own financial consulting firm, JHG Associates, in Purcellville, Va., where his clients included the National Association of Wheat Growers and the International Center for Alcohol Policy. Previously he served as the chief financial operating officer at the Door and Hardware Institute and as the director of finance for the American Financial Services Association.
He began his career in the banking industry before working for several years as a real estate agent and as a teacher in the Fairfax County Virginia public school system.
Mr. Gooding holds a bachelor of arts degree from George Mason University in Fairfax, Va.
