Cyanotech Corporation Announces Departure of Scientific Director

KAILUA KONA, Hawaii --(Business Wire)-- Dec. 30, 2004 -- Cyanotech Corporation (Nasdaq:CYAN), a world leader in producing high-value natural products from microalgae, today announced the departure of its Scientific Director, John E. Dore, Ph.D., effective December 31, 2004. Dr. Dore is leaving his position to pursue other opportunities in research, but will maintain a month-to-month consulting relationship with the Company during the course of the next six months.
