Director of Information Technology

An emerging leader in the nutritional supplement industry, Nutritional Laboratories Int’l., Inc. in Missoula, Montana is seeking an I.T. professional to join its talented, fast paced management staff. The company is entrepreneurial, yet corporate due to being a subsidiary of Mitsubishi. The existing I.T. function has not kept pace with the needs of the firm and application development has previously been outsourced with unsatisfactory results. This is an ideal position for a talented I.T. professional to reshape an I.T department to become a strategic contributor to the business.The successful candidate MUST have the following qualifications: Experience / skill set Extensive experience with MAPICS XA release 6 applications in a manufacturing environment including application tailoring and utilization of Integrator, Browser, and data warehouses. Must be knowledgeable of all MAPICS financial applications, MRP, shop floor control, inventory control, product costing and cross application support. Extensive experience with A/S 400, Windows Server 2003, IBM e-servers, and Domino (LAN/WAN, Intranet). Extensive knowledge, skill and experience in applications development, data base design, use of query languages and RPG IV. Experience with project management (MS Project a plus) Experience managing an entire I.T. function in a manufacturing environment. Ability to multi task and prioritize necessary. Has established a track record of unquestioned integrity Can demonstrate a history of accomplishments and a progressive career path. The ideal candidate will also have: A four year degree in computer science from a leading university Ten or more years of experience with the specific skill sets describe above. Five years experience working as an I.T. professional at a Fortune 500 company. Three or more years of supervisory experience.
