DKSH to distribute Indena personal care in China

Agreement is part of Indena’s strategy to expand its global presence in the cosmetic market through the cooperation with high-value partners.

Indena, the world’s leading producer of active principles derived from plants used in the pharmaceutical, health-food, and cosmetics industry, and DKSH’s Business Unit Performance Materials, a leading specialty chemicals distributor and Market Expansion Services provider with a focus on Asia, announced that Indena’s personal care ingredients will be distributed in China.

The agreement between DKSH and Indena is part of Indena’s strategy to expand its global presence in the cosmetic market through the cooperation with high-value partners. Under this agreement, Indena and DKSH will jointly work to provide the Chinese market with excellent products and services for which both companies are known for.

Stefano Togni, Business Development – Head of Personal Care at Indena, said: “We are glad to work together with DKSH, a company with a well-established infrastructure and capillary distribution network throughout Asia, and an in-depth personal care market expertise. This partnership is a further expansion of our existing collaboration with DKSH. Together with DKSH, we expect to consolidate and broaden our customer’s portfolio in China.”

“Indena is a strategic key client, and we are pleased to support Indena’s expansion plans for their personal care business by leveraging on DKSH’s blanket coverage across China. We will develop Indena’s extensive range of mostly dry, highly purified plant extracts with proven efficacy even at very low concentrations. These new creations are a perfect completion to our portfolio and a great offer to our customers both in the conventional personal care area and in the “green” cosmetic sector,” said Cori Diaz, Head Key Client Management, Business Unit Performance Materials at DKSH.
