Doctor's Best hires supply chain VP

Long-time nutrition industry vet Tom Lomax joins the company to manage its supply chain.

Doctor’s Best Inc., a leading international dietary supplement manufacturer, appointed Tom Lomax to the position of vice president, supply chain. Mr. Lomax will be responsible for managing the comprehensive supply chain of the organization as well as identifying and implementing new opportunities for system efficiencies.

For the past 33 years, Mr. Lomax has held executive positions with several industry influencing nutrition companies. Most recently, Mr. Lomax was vice president of manufacturing for VRP Manufacturing, Carson City, Nev., supplier of direct to consumer and medical channel brands, where he led the company to achieve significant operational efficiencies. He holds a business administration degree from Moorpark College, Moorpark, Calif.
