Dr. Siegal launches energy shots for calorie-conscious lifestyles

Dr. Siegal & Son, LLC launches Dr. Siegal's ENERGY Caffeine Supplement, a 2 ounce, single-serving energy shot.

Dr. Siegal & Son, LLC, the functional food company launched last year by renowned physician, author, and weight-loss expert Sanford Siegal, D.O., M.D., best known as the creator of the venerable Dr. Siegal's COOKIE DIET® weight-loss brand, and his son, Matthew Siegal, has begun distributing Dr. Siegal's® ENERGY™ Caffeine Supplement, a 2 ounce, single-serving energy shot. The product is intended to provide quick energy for anyone, including those who follow a weight-loss or weight-maintenance diet. Each 2 ounce bottle of the berry flavored dietary supplement contains about as much caffeine as a cup of full-strength coffee and has no sugar or calories.

The product is packaged in a colorful, POP display that holds 12 single serving bottles. Unlike some leading brand energy shots, Dr. Siegal's® ENERGY™ Caffeine Supplement shots have no sugar or calories so they're compatible with many weight-loss regimens including the popular Dr. Siegal's COOKIE DIET® plan.

"Dr. Siegal's® ENERGY™ brand energy shots provide the same caffeine boost as a cup of premium coffee," said Matthew Siegal, CEO of Dr. Siegal & Son. "They have no calories or sugar, however, and are a lot more convenient to carry in your pocket or purse."

Dr. Siegal's® ENERGY™ Caffeine Supplement will begin to arrive next week at select retailers, including www.CookieDiet.com, and will soon be in stores nationwide.

Dr. Siegal & Son, LLC specializes in quality functional foods and nutritional supplements. The company's patent-pending first product, CalciOs™ calcium-fortified cookies (www.Calcios.com), provides 90 percent of the Daily Value of calcium per serving. A CalciOs™ POP display containing 18, 3-cookie packages began arriving at checkout counters nationwide last week.
