Earth Balance launches 'Month of Plant-Based Eating' campaign

More than 25 plant-based diet experts partner with the food company to educate consumers about the health and environmental benefits of the plant-based diet.  

Earth Balance, a line of plant-based, all-natural and organic foods launches a “Month of Plant-Based Eating” campaign to educate consumers about the health and environmental benefits of the plant-based diet. The brand has partnered with over 25 plant-based diet experts, including Julieanna Hever, The Plant-Based Dietitian M.S., R.D., C.P.T., Kim Barnouin, co-author of the Skinny Bitch book series, and many more to share tips for “leaning into” a plant-based diet though the online community

“A plant-based diet can often seem intimidating, and our goal is to let people know how easy and delicious it really is,” says Duane Primozich, Senior Vice President General Manager, Earth Balance. “To do so, we have created, an online community dedicated to plant-based living, and we are thrilled to bring together such an exceptional group of experts to share their knowledge in our Month of Plant-Based Eating campaign.”

The four-week campaign, which launches on June 4th, will bring together a panel of plant-based diet experts including dietitians, vegan chefs, authors and more to share daily tips for adopting a plant-based lifestyle. Each day throughout the campaign one expert will provide an easy-to-follow piece of advice in a post on the Earth Balance online community The advice shared will be based on each expert’s knowledge and experiences relating to cooking and eating plant-based foods, health benefits associated with the plant-based diet and fun ways to enjoy living a plant-based lifestyle. The campaign will last the duration of the month of June.

According to Julieanna Hever, The Plant-Based Dietitian, M.S., R.D., C.P.T. , author of the best-selling book, The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Plant-Based Nutrition, nutrition columnist for VegNews Magazine and co-author of the brand new book, The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Gluten-Free Vegan Cooking, “Plants are the most nutrient dense foods available. By following a plant-based diet, a person generally consumes fewer calories, less fat, and reduces their risk of lifestyle-related diseases, including heart disease and diabetes. If everyone followed a plant-based diet, the world would be a much healthier place. We should all do it!”
