Eat Right Foods introduces EATRIGHT products to more stores

Eat Right Foods is now spreading wings to supply other US retailers with its innovative EATRIGHT branded products.

After supplying America's largest chain of natural and organic products, Whole Foods Market, for the past seven years Eat Right Foods is now spreading wings to supply other US retailers with its innovative EATRIGHT branded products ... helped by substantial endorsements and a New Zealand government initiative.

So far, the range of healthy, organic and allergy friendly EATRIGHT cookie, cracker and snack products have been presented to stores such as Raleys and Andronico's. The President and Chief Operating Officer of Andronico's, John Clougher, who first tasted and started to sell the EATRIGHT range of products whilst he was Vice President of Procurement at Whole Foods Market Northern California, strongly recommends the New Zealand made products to other retailers in the United States and is looking forward to selling them in his stores. "In today's specialty, premium and natural retail sector, your (EATRIGHT) products fill an important part of a retailer’s product strategy. Your product lines match perfectly to consumers that are deeply committed to health and diet. Your company also provides great service and quality".

The support of New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) has also played an important role for Eat Right Foods in the US in the past ten years. This has included trade show support at shows such as Natural Products Expo and Fancy Foods as well as the New Zealand Food and Beverage Buyers Guide and buyer presentations.

Eat Right Foods has been manufacturing and selling its "more benefits in every bite" products from its Nelson, New Zealand base since 2001. In 2005, the company was ranked by the NZ National Business Review as the "second most exciting food and beverage wholesaler" for its cookie exports to the US. The company was the first to gain the Heart Tick approval for products in the sweet biscuit category, an innovator in the development of products suitable for people with Candida, the first food company to use bio-compostable potato starch packaging and has recently developed a range of raw philosophy "SlowDried" products. The company is also in the process of developing some ground breaking intellectual property in the area of bio-available nutrients. The EATRIGHT brand is registered in the US, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
