WASHINGTON, D.C., November 5, 2003 - The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), one of the dietary supplement industry's leading trade associations, announced the addition of five new member companies: Bioriginal Food & Science Corp. of Saskatchewan, Canada; Merical Vita-Pak, Inc. of Anaheim, Calif.; NuLiv Science Inc. with U.S. headquarters in City of Industry, Calif.; Nutrinova, a Frankfurt, Germany-based company; and Nurture, Inc. of Devon, Pa.
In addition, the CRN Board of Directors recently welcomed two new board members: Samuel Caster of Mannatech, Inc. and Mike Vaughan of Nashai Biotech, LLC.

Benoit Cossart has resigned his position on the CRN Board of Directors. After 10 years with Rhodia, a CRN member, Mr. Cossart has accepted a position with another company. CRN thanks Mr. Cossart for his many years of service to CRN and the dietary supplement industry and wishes him success in his new position.
