PepsiCo Canada, licensee of the Gatorade(R) brand in Canada, announced that the G Series line of products will be available in stores on March 21, 2011. Designed to help athletes maximize their performance, G Series provides fuel, fluid and nutrients before, during and after activity. Grounded in the latest sports nutrition research and developed in collaboration with some of North America's top athletes, the G Series platform showcases the Gatorade brand's deep understanding and commitment to the performance and nutritional needs of today's athletes.

Athletes including MMA world champion Georges St-Pierre, ultra-marathoner Ray Zahab and world champion snowboarder Maelle Ricker have been participating in a six-month G Series trial program in Canada. With over 65 top athletes from a wide range of disciplines across Canada, the G Series trial was designed to solicit real-world feedback of the three-step before, during and after G Series nutritional program.

The G Series will be available in stores across Canada on March 21, 2011. Gatorade Prime pre-game beverage will retail for $1.99 for a single 118 mL pouch; Gatorade Perform(R) thirst quencher and G2 Perform(TM) electrolyte beverage will retail for $1.99 for a 591mL bottle, $2.29-$2.49 for a 710mL bottle, and $2.99 for a 950mL bottle; and Gatorade Recover post-game recovery beverage will retail for $2.99 for a single 500 mL bottle.
