Gero Vita International Announces New Ownership and Management

LOS ANGELES, May 24, 2005 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Gero Vita International (GVI), a magazine publisher and provider of nutritional supplements, formally announced that the company is under new management and strategic direction. The new management team took over corporate operations on March 4, 2005.

Under Gero Vita International's new management, the company will continue to publish the Journal of Longevity, a monthly magazine geared toward health and longevity advancements for the baby boomer and senior markets. The journal, in circulation since 1994, has a newly expanded informational section, "Frontiers of Science and Medicine," which reports on scientific advances from around the globe, including the latest in cutting-edge medical tests and procedures; stem cell research; and new treatments for cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer's disease, hearing loss, eye problems, spinal cord paralysis and more.

The company will also continue to offer more than 100 nutritional supplements, such as its flagship products Prostata, a prostate health formula; Gero-Vita G.H.3., a longevity formula; and Arthro-7, a bone and joint health formula. A new Premier line of advanced formulas has been recently developed and includes Vitality H3, TrilaSlim and Celadrin(R) Plus Premier. Single-ingredient vitamin and mineral product lines are also being introduced. Furthermore, the company plans to expand its over-the-counter product line to over 100 products by year-end 2006.
