Leading ingredients expert Glanbia Nutritionals will showcase its expanding portfolio of custom micronutrient premixes, flax and dairy-sourced ingredients at this year’s IFT Food Expo in New Orleans. At the forefront of the nutritional industry, Glanbia Nutritionals’ whey proteins, bioactive whey fractions, flax-based ALA omega-3 ingredients and customized micronutrient premixes provide proven solutions for a wide variety of food and beverage challenges and applications.

Visitors to Glanbia Nutritionals’ booth will be able to sample the Glanbia Nutritionals tortillacompany’s recent ingredient innovations, including an immunity beverage which features Bioferrin® lactoferrin—a natural, biologically active milk protein derived from whey. Glanbia Nutritionals’ unique processing method maximizes the bioactivity of Bioferrin® lactoferrin, enhancing the benefits of immune support for beverage, food and supplement applications.The immunity beverage also benefits from an Immunity Health Micronutrient Premix, a bespoke blend of vitamins, minerals and specialty ingredients which contain an excellent source level of Zinc and B vitamins: Thiamin, Riboflavin, Pyridoxine and Folic Acid. Additionally, each serving also provides over 100% daily value of vitamin C and a good source of vitamins A, D and E.

Glanbia Nutritionals will also showcase whole wheat and flour tortillas featuring a Cardiovascular Premix and OptiSol™ 5000—a clean label flax-based ingredient designed to enhance texture and extend stability in baked goods. Visitors can choose from a muffuletta tapenade—fortified with Glanbia Nutritionals’ Cognitive Premix featuring B vitamins and a source of choline that may improve brain health—or horseradish or honey mustard sauces containing Glanbia’s Antioxidant Premixes with vitamins A, C and E.
