GTC Nutrition Announces Additions To Technical Team

GOLDEN, Colorado, Monday, March 27, 2006 – GTC Nutrition, a business unit of Corn Products International, Inc. (NYSE: CPO), today announced two new hires to its technical group. Luke Kazmierski and Cristina Munteanu joined the company as Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs Specialist and Food Applications Specialist, respectively. The expansion of the technical group underscores the company’s commitment to supporting its customers by providing expertise across all channels of the business.

"These two specialists bring considerable skills and energy to GTC Nutrition beyond their immediate positions, and their contributions will allow us to further customize the technical support we offer to our customers,” said Juliana Zeiher Ingredient Technologies Manager for GTC Nutrition.

Luke Kazmierski brings 10 years of quality assurance and regulatory experience to the GTC Nutrition team. Prior to joining the company he served as an Advanced Manufacturing Quality Assurance Technician for Abbott Laboratories in Abbott Park, IL, where he was directly responsible for identifying and assisting in correcting deficiencies within Abbott’s processes and procedures, as well as the control of nonconforming documentation and product. Mr. Kazmierski is CPR certified and approved to serve as an Emergency Control Force (ECF) member to promote employee safety.

Cristina Munteanu joins the company as a food applications specialist, having most recently served as a Laboratory Assistant for Colorado State University’s Food Science Department in Fort Collins, CO. Ms. Munteanu’s responsibilities will include developing internal and customer-specific formulations and prototypes, managing the applications laboratory, and providing technical support to customers and sales staff. Ms. Munteanu obtained her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO, and is currently positioned as chair-elect for the Colorado chapter of the Rocky Mountain Institute of Food Technologists (IFT).
