Guardino Joins Econugenics

Experienced Mycologist & Plant Biologist to Direct Research and Development

SANTA ROSA, Calif., December 3, 2004 - EcoNugenics®, a premium dietary supplement and nutraceutical company, appointed John Guardino to the position of director of research and development.

Prior to joining EcoNugenics, Guardino served as staff mycologist and manufacturing supervisor for an exotic mushroom and nutraceutical company in Northern California. He was also senior research technologist for a key research center at Pennsylvania State University where he conducted extensive research on the biology, genetics and molecular evolution of toxigenic fungi. Guardino earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, Pa. He received his Master of Science degree in Phytopathology from Pennsylvania State University.
