LOS ANGELES, Aug 24, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Herbalife Ltd. (HLF) announces the appointment of Yong-Hak Lee as managing director of Herbalife Korea, responsible for the growth and profitability of the country through leadership of the local management team and the development and motivation of the independent distributor organization. Lee will be based in the company's Seoul office and report to John Purdy, senior vice president, Asia Pacific.
Lee has extensive experience in the Korean direct selling industry including 10 years with Amway Korea as manager of human resources and director of external affairs, public relations, and corporate communications. Most recently he was the managing director of Sunrider Korea. He was also a consultant to the industry primarily in the area of the Korea DDSA (Door to Door Sales Act) and in the early part of his career, employed by the Hanjin Group.
