LOS ANGELES, Feb 13, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Herbalife Ltd. (HLF) announces the promotion of Paul Noack to the newly-created post of executive vice president and chief strategic officer with responsibility for global strategic and business planning, mergers and acquisitions, developing business in China, and a particular focus on international growth areas. Noack joined the company in January 2004 as senior vice president, corporate planning and strategy. He will now report to Chief Executive Officer Michael O. Johnson.

Noack is a seasoned business executive with more than 20 years experience in strategic and financial planning, as well as operating experience. His career is highlighted by more than a decade at The Walt Disney Company and almost five years of investment banking experience. At Disney he worked in three different divisions. Noack led the restructuring of Disney's music division, developed high-value consumer strategies, helped launch the Disney Sports division, and assisted in the reorganization of Disney's European film and television operations. Noack left Disney to become senior managing director of Knightsbridge Holdings, a San Francisco-based venture banking company investing in mid-sized businesses in entertainment, e-commerce and emerging technology industries.
Prior to joining Herbalife, Noack was senior vice president and chief strategic officer of DMX MUSIC based in Los Angeles where he managed corporate strategic alliances (with Hughes, Sky, Toyo Media Links and Cisneros Group), restructured international operations and negotiated joint ventures and partnership deals. In addition, he was responsible for international operations in Asia, Japan, Latin America and Canada.
