SALT LAKE CITY, August 7, 2002 — Jeff Hilton, president and co-founder of Integrated Marketing Group, a local marketing and branding agency servicing a national and international clientele, has accepted a three year, volunteer appointment as president of the University of Utah Alumni Association. Additionally, Hilton was elected to the Board of Trustees for the University.
“Though much time has passed, I have very fond memories of my years spent as a student at the University of Utah,” stated Hilton. “It is a privilege to serve the many faithful alumni of the University who continue to support this venerable institution.”
The Alumni Board is a working board that meets monthly, and members also participate in various campus committees including Homecoming, Community Service, Undergraduate Quality and Athletics. Its’ mission is to promote the interests and welfare of the University, its alumni, students, faculty and staff. Currently, the Board is compromised of 18 active members from the community plus representatives from affiliate organizations including the Student Alumni Association, the Young Alumni Association, the Emeritus Alumni Association and the Beehive Honor Society.
Along with being heavily involved in various community organizations, Hilton has been recognized by Advertising Age magazine as one of America’s Top 100 Marketers and has guided the national brand-building efforts of numerous recognized consumer brands including Continental Airlines, Mrs. Fields Cookies and Major League Baseball.
