Humanetics Announces Its New Executive Director of Sales and Marketing

February 20, 2003 - Scott Steil has been named Humanetics Corporation's Executive Director of Sales and Marketing. Humanetics is a Chanhassen, MN-based corporation focusing on the application of its proprietary ingredients in the dietary supplement, pharmaceutical, companion animal and cosmetic industries.

In this position, Scott will be focusing on maximizing sales of Humanetics' key ingredients
7-Keto™ and MicroLactin™. Humanetics' current ingredient customers include GNC, Enzymatic Therapy, NBTY and Nature's Sunshine.

Scott is an international executive skilled in business development, management, sales, marketing and strategic planning. He graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN with a B.A. degree in Biology and a concentration in Economics. He began working for F. Hoffmann-La Roche in Duluth, MN in 1991 as a Territory Manager. In 1995 Scott then spent 2 years in Switzerland as part of their International Development Program focused upon Product Management. For the past six years, he and his family resided in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he worked for Roche as a Product Manager, Country Manager for Paraguay/Bolivia as well as a Business Unit Manager. In his duties as Business Unit Manager, Scott led a 163 member marketing team and sales force, successfully managed $74 million in product sales and increased the company's market share by 5% in his last year there.
