Kathleen Murphy, a professional with 30+ years in communications, has joined Integrated Marketing Group as senior PR counsel.
Kathleen has a deep background in public relations, marketing, and writing. Early in her career, she was a senior writer/editor for McDonald’s Corp. She later moved from the financial industry to real estate marketing before landing in healthcare communications with Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Utah.
“It’s her knowledge of the health care industry and solid writing skills that attracted IMG to Kathleen and what she can bring to our PR practice,” said Jeff Hilton, IMG cofounder and chief marketing officer. “She understands the nuances of health issues, which is invaluable as we begin working more in the practitioner channel.”
As senior PR counsel, Kathleen will manage multiple accounts, help secure new business, and mentor PR team members.
Kathleen obtained a B.A. in journalism from Marquette University and currently is a board member for Voices for Utah Children.
