NutraGenesis, of Brattleboro, Vermont, has hired Craig MacIntyre as national sales manager and director of new business development. MacIntyre has 12 years of experience in the educational publishing business. He was previously CEO of both Oak Meadow Inc and Patron Services.

Cyvex hires regional sales manager
Cyvex Nutrition appointed Terri Wright as western regional sales manager. Wright has 12 years of experience working in the dietary-supplements industry. Prior to her Cyvex appointment, she worked for several leading nutraceutical-ingredients suppliers in various customer service, inside sales and general office-management positions.

Culinary Farms hires controller
Culinary Farms, a speciality food-ingredients manufacturer based in Woodland, California, hired Baljit "Bal" Pattar as its new controller. Pattar comes to Culinary Farms from the Legend Corp, a hardwood-flooring company, where he served as chief operating officer. Pattar has more than 20 years of progressive experience within the consumer and industrial product industry. His depth of experience in the food industry comes from his years at Foster Farms and Beatrice Foods. Pattar earned a master's degree in business administration from St. Mary's College.

President adds CEO duties
Valensa International has appointed Dr Rudi E Moerck as president and chief executive officer. The move to add CEO duties for Moerck comes on the heels of Valensa's partnership with Parry Nutraceuticals [a division of EID Parry (India), Chennai, India] announced last November. ?In a career that spans more than 25 years, Dr Moerck has held senior management positions in the pharmaceutical and speciality chemical industries, as well as research and commercial development positions. Dr Moerck will lead Valensa's move into the next generation of plant-derived dietary supplements and functional-food ingredients.

SourceOne Global Partners appointed Rob Maltas as director of business development, science and innovation. Maltas has 30 years of experience primarily in innovative technologies, product development, sales and business growth. He grew up in Harare, Zimbabwe; graduated from the University of Cape Town in South Africa; and started his career with IBM in Croydon, Surrey, England. Most recently, he spent 18 years with ProCaps Laboratories of Las Vegas.

Lisa KidronNew CFO at Pharmline
Pharmline has named Lisa Kidron as chief financial officer. Previously, Kidron served in various executive roles in public and private companies. She has more than a decade of experience in developing and implementing business strategies that have aided growth in both Fortune 500 companies and small businesses. A certified public accountant, she has master's degrees in law and industrial engineering.
