InterHealth's ZMA ingredient awarded EU trademark

Anabolic support formula contains InterHealth’s highly bioavailable zinc mono-L-methionine sulfate.

Sports nutrition ingredient ZMA® was awarded a European community trademark for use in food supplements. Filed by SNAC System on August 10, 2010, the trademark applies to the ZMA logo and name when used in food supplement products. InterHealth licenses ZMA from SNAC.

The ZMA logo and product name plays a large role in InterHealth Nutraceuticals’ marketing and advertising initiatives in Europe. The anabolic support formula contains InterHealth’s highly bioavailable zinc mono-L-methionine sulfate (L-OptiZinc®) – an approved form of zinc in the EU.

ZMA is extremely popular among athletes for its ability to support healthy testosterone levels and muscle strength. “The social media buzz alone on this ingredient is spectacular. We are hearing so many success stories from both people in Europe and in the United States,” commented Paul Dijkstra, InterHealth’s CEO. ZMA is a registered trademark in the United States.

In addition to its grass roots social media buzz, ZMA is supported by published clinical research. With the logo and trademark symbols consumers will now know they are getting the original brand ZMA and can be assured of its quality.
