International Food Network (IFN), a leading product development firm for the food, beverage and nutraceutical industries, announced the appointment of Dr. Phil Camburn as Managing Director.
Dr. Camburn will assume operational management of IFN technical centers and staff in Ithaca, New York, Naples, Florida and Reading, United Kingdom. He will also have responsibility for developing IFN’s client base, made up of national and global CPG companies as well as specialty manufacturers and marketers. He reports to IFN Founder and President, Peter Salmon.
Prior to joining IFN, Dr. Camburn was Product Development Director for Nutritional Healthcare Research & Development at GlaxoSmithKline, where he worked for 22 years and launched over 50 new food products. He has also held management positions at Pfizer Chemicals and Bass PLC. He holds BS and PhD degrees in Food Technology from the University of Reading, UK.

Dr. Camburn will be based at IFN’s technical center in Reading, UK. Peter Salmon will continue to work from the firm’s offices in Ithaca, New York.
