iSatori Global Technologies Appoints Jim Cucolo as Vice President of National Accounts

[GOLDEN, CO] — December 03, 2002 — iSatori Global Technologies, creators of Lean System 7, is pleased to announce industry veteran Jim Cucolo is joining the team as Vice President of National Accounts.

In this position, Cucolo will collaborate with Vice President of Sales and Marketing, James O'Byrne, to develop new business in the health and specialty sectors, as well as handling all domestic national accounts, including those with GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, 24 Hour Fitness, and Vitamin World. "Jim Cucolo will be a strong catalyst in building formable relationships with our retail partners," explains James O'Byrne. "His vast market experience will be critical to building the foundation for iSatori to continue to expand its market presence."

Cucolo adds, "I am very lucky to be joining the iSatori team. Over the past few years, the sports nutrition industry has been 'dragged down' by ineffective weight-loss products and an overwhelming amount of bogus ads and unsubstantiated claims. iSatori has already begun to transform the beliefs surrounding fat loss by providing accurate information, and Lean System 7 is the brand of choice in fat-loss supplementation moving forward."

Cucolo's extensive experience includes working as GNC Western Division Sales and Promotion Manager, responsible for advertising, promotions, sales, and marketing with over 1,000 western GNC stores between 1994 and 1998. At GNC, he created numerous retail ads, promotions, new merchandising, and marketing programs, which propelled the Western GNC division to record sales within all GNC divisions due to increased customer loyalty.

Cucolo then joined EAS in 1998, initially reporting to Shawn Phillips, and held a variety of senior management positions in sales and marketing until 2001. During his tenure at EAS, Cucolo worked extensively in retail promotions, product marketing, and managing national accounts in the U.S. He recently left Next Proteins as Director of New Business Development.

Stephen Adele, President of iSatori, shares, "Jim Cucolo brings a great deal of integrity and respect to our brand in the marketplace. We are extremely proud to have him join our team."

Cucolo graduated from the University of West Florida with a B.Sc. and continued on to receive his MBA. In addition, he completed a two-year graphics program from the University of California, Irvine. A health and fitness enthusiast, he trains and has competed since the early 1980’s in triathlons, running, and downhill ski races.
