Kampffmeyer Food Innovation GmbH has recorded continuously growing demand for natural grain products in the Eastern European market. The company has been present with a subsidiary in Poland for approximately two years. During this time, the amount of tonnage sold has increased sevenfold in the region. Kampffmeyer Food Innovation’s customer base includes artisan bakeries as well as companies from the bakery and food industries.

Thanks to its location in Poland, the internationally operating company has successfully expanded its position in the Eastern European market. Maciej Tomaka, managing director at Kampffmeyer Food Innovation Poland, says: “The Polish market is developing strongly at the moment. There is a trend towards single-person households in this country, so consumers are purchasing more convenience products. And food manufacturers are increasingly emphasizing premium quality ingredients at an affordable price. The product portfolio accommodates these demands perfectly.”

For convenience products, Kampffmeyer Food Innovation’s functional flour Purafarin® is particularly suitable. It can be used as a natural binding system in frozen foods, soups and sauces. In addition, the company’s product portfolio provides release flours, compounds for baked goods and food products, natural fibre and texturised wheat proteins.
