Morristown, NJ - PL Thomas & Co., Inc., (also known as PLT) welcomes John Keller, a food technologist and 30-year industry veteran. According to the company, as Technical Manager, Keller will spearhead the technical department using his wealth of knowledge and diversified experience.

Keller, according to the company, has worked with many of the most distinguished food ingredient and food manufacturing companies. His former positions include: Technical Service Manager, Research Program Leader – Product Technology Group, Senior Scientist of Food Ingredients, Group Leader of Product Development, Culinary Group Project Leader, Food Hydrocolloid Group Manager and Food Analysis Lab Supervisor.
Furthermore, Keller has contributed to several gums publications, including Food Hydrocolloids, Volume III, Chapter 2 by M. Glicksman. Keller was a guest lecturer for the Eastern Food Science Conference and on numerous occasions for the AACC, the American Institute of Baking Short Courses and the Center for Prof. Advance.
Keller has a BS in Food Technology from Rutgers University and an MS in Food Chemistry, with a minor in Biochemistry from Cornell University.
