Kellogg's recalls cereal in Australia

Kellogg's Australia is recalling some packets of its Crunchy Nut Clusters as a precautionary measure.

Kellogg's Australia is recalling some packets of its Crunchy Nut Clusters as a precautionary measure.

The recall comes after four customers contacted Kellogg after finding a small piece of plastic in the cereal.

The cereal is being recalled in both Australia and New Zealand Clusters in the following package sizes and best before dates:

- 540g with best before dates as printed on the box of 21/03/2012 and 22/03/2012

- 450g with best before dates as printed on the box 01/06/2012

Kellogg says only packages with those dates are involved in the recall and it has apologised.

It's asking anyone with family or friends who may have purchased any of the boxes of cereals to let people know in case they aren't aware.

Customers can return the recalled packs to the store they bought them from for a full refund, or call the Kellogg Customer Contact Centre on 0800 881 889 for information.
