Lufthansa Helps Employees Manage Their Health by Offering Online Access to Healthnotes Content

Healthnotes acclaimed health and lifestyle information available to employees free of charge

PORTLAND, Ore.-March 18, 2003-Healthnotes Inc. (HNI), the premier provider of credible, easy-to-use health and lifestyle information, has signed an agreement with Lufthansa German Airlines to offer its employees secure online access to the Healthnotes® Suite. Part of a corporate wellness initiative, Healthnotes is available to both current and retired employees as a resource for reliable health, food, and nutrition information.

It includes Safetychecker, covering more than 18,200 potential interactions between supplements and frequently used prescription and over-the-counter drugs, and Foodnotes®, with nutrition information and tips on how to select and prepare close to 450 foods. It also provides information on special diets and food allergies, and hundreds of quick, healthy recipes.

To complement the standard health information, Lufthansa employees also have online access to Healthnotes Newswire, a weekly news service that features physician-authored articles reviewing and analyzing the latest studies on healthy living and self-care.
