COPPELL, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 26, 2004--Mannatech, Incorporated (Nasdaq:MTEX) announced that it has been issued a patent in Taiwan by the Taiwan Intellectual Property Office for its glyconutrient blend in connection with Ambrotose(R) Complex.
Mannatech's Taiwan patent is entitled "Compositions of Plant Carbohydrates as Dietary Supplements." The Taiwan patent is the latest patent issued to Mannatech, which was also issued 14 patents related to its Ambrotose(R) Complex in Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. This patent helps in the continuation of Mannatech's global expansion of its Ambrotose products designed to support optimal health and wellness and to help strengthen the body's immune system.
