Maxinutrition to enter Indian market

Maxinutrition is set to launch its products in India. The company has signed a distribution agreement with Smart Nutrition, an importer, wholesaler and distributor of health food supplements and wellness products in India.


Maxinutrition, a parent company Maximuscle—the European sports nutrition supplier, is set to launch its products in India.

The company has signed a distribution agreement with Smart Nutrition, an importer, wholesaler and distributor of health food supplements and wellness products in India.

Smart Nutrition CEO Raj Makhija said that Smart Nutrition's core focus is on carving a niche for world class health supplements in the Indian market. "Maxinutrition is Europe's number one brand and because of its safety and products range it is perfect for Indian sports and fitness consumers," Makhija added.

Smart Nutrition, a unit of Med Source health care, is a supplier of protein-based sports nutrition products throughout India. It distributes through organized retail chains such as Religare Wellness, Planet Sports, Decathlon store.

Maximuscle, which focuses on products that help gain muscle and increase strength and power, has a range of powder, capsule and bar products.
