The second annual Natural Products Expo Asia, held December 3-5, 2003 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, generated significant business for the 200 companies represented at the event.
“The show was totally overwhelming … we’re still recovering!,” said Stephen Sprada of Logical Nutrition, the Australian manufacturer of Vital Greens powdered supplement. “We generated fifty quality leads and have already shipped 100 kilos of product to Taiwan in the two weeks since the show. We also met a partner from Shanghai who will be displaying our product at a health show in China this week,” Sprada added.
With 4,198 buyers from around the world at the 2003 event, Expo Asia further established itself as the leading business show in Asia for the natural products and nutrition industries. Total floor space contracted increased by twenty-eight percent over the 2002 Expo Asia show, and buyer representation from Mainland China, in particular, increased significantly. In all, buyers from thirty-eight countries attended the December show.
