PROVO, Utah, Sep 13, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Nature's Sunshine Products, Inc. (NATR), a leading manufacturer and marketer of encapsulated herbs and vitamins, said today that Dale G. Lee has announced plans to retire next year as Executive Vice President and President of U.S. Sales. In anticipation of his retirement, Mr. Lee has stepped down as head of United States Sales, and the position has been assumed by Gregory R. Halliday, Vice President, U.S. Sales and Marketing.

Mr. Lee spent seven years working at Brigham Young University prior to joining Nature's Sunshine in 1978. He was named an officer of the Company in 1989, having previously served as Product Line Manager, Regional Representative and Director.
Mr. Halliday began his career with Nature's Sunshine in 1991 as a Field Sales Trainer and has steadily assumed increased responsibilities. He has served as Director of Promotions/Incentives/Recognition Department, Director of the Spanish Sales Division and as Executive Director of U.S. Sales. He was appointed to his present position three years ago. Mr. Halliday holds a B.S. degree and an MBA from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University.
