Neal-Kababick to Chair AOAC Methods Committee on Dietary Supplements

James Neal-Kababick, Director of Flora Research has been appointed to a three-year term as Chair of the AOAC International Methods Committee on Dietary Supplements. His appointment commences on May 20, 2002 and will continue through September 2004. This recently established committee is focused on the development and validation of analytical methods for the dietary supplement industry. The importance of such method validation in providing product regulation and informing consumers through product labels cannot be underestimated. Flora Research was founded by Neal-Kababick in 1994 and is a full-service independent natural products laboratory with emphasis on quality control testing of raw materials and finished products in the botanical and dietary supplement industries.
