New Comprehensive Science Dossier for Lactium Stress Relief Ingredient Now Available

A 238-page scientific dossier for Lactium®, a hydrolysate of casein that contains a bioactive decapeptide with relaxing properties, has been compiled by Pharmachem Laboratories, exclusive distributor for the ingredient in several global markets.

“The dossier contains all the available research and application studies on Lactium and is the most comprehensive technical document developed for the ingredient to date,” said Mitch Skop, director of new product development for Pharmachem.

The dossier, viewable at or available in hard copy by request, includes safety and regulatory data, including GRAS statement and suggested label claims; 19 research studies, 11 application and analysis studies, technical documents as well as frequently asked questions about the ingredient.

Classified as GRAS, Lactium has been the subject of several clinical studies, which have shown it to be safe, without side effects, and effective at regulating the major symptoms of stress on the digestive and cardiovascular systems, as well as enhancing social, emotional, and intellectual capabilities. Naturally maintains healthy blood pressure, and clinically shown to promote healthy cortisol levels.

“As a supplement, Lactium can be incorporated into a daily multi-vitamin, an anti-stress formulation, or as a stand-alone product,” added Skop. “As a functional food ingredient, it is versatile enough for use in ready-to-drink beverages, drink mixes, bars, chocolates, and more.”
