Agave ketchupOrganic ketchup with agave
Original Organic Agave Ketchup by Wholemato combines organic tomatoes with spices and agave nectar. Agave nectar is a robust natural sweetener composed primarily of fructose; therefore, it does not adversely impact blood glucose and insulin, its maker says. The ketchup has been certified as low glycaemic for diabetics by the Glycemic Research Institute. It also contains no high-fructose corn syrup or artificial sweeteners.

Italian food company Barilla has included Glucagel in its new Alixir food line of breads and brioche. Barilla has invested three years and $14.5 million into the development of the new range. Glucagel is a high-purity barley beta-glucan ingredient recognised for its heart- and digestive-health benefits. Glucagel is distributed in Europe and North America by DKSH, and in Australia by CSR Ethanol.
