Missoula, Montana - October 28, 2004 - Nutritional Laboratories International, Inc. (NLI), a leading formulator and manufacturer of nutritional supplements and provider of strategic product development services to its customers, has announced four new key additions to its staff to support the company's growth and to continue the focus on improvement and operational efficiency. The company, whose quality systems already exceed the anticipated requirements for supplement GMP's, is now finalizing its personnel to best support expanding customer requirements.
Joining the organization as a Technical Services Specialist in the Operations Department, Steve Kearl brings extensive tableting experience to NLI and will be responsible for pilot batch production runs and technical formulation development and support. In the nutraceutical industry since 1995, Mr. Kearl was previously Production Supervisor at Nellson Nutraceuticals, and Production Manager for Powder Processors, Tablet and Capsule Formulation with scale up responsibility at Nutraceutical Corp.
Joining NLI as Training Specialist in the QA Department, Sue Mirabito will be responsible for continued development and ongoing management of Quality Assurance training programs throughout all NLI operations. She brings 20 years of experience with Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals as Site Environmental Leader, Technical Training Leader and Tablet/Capsule machine operator.
Joining NLI as Procurement Manager in the Materials Department, Greg Tomlinson will be responsible for coordination of materials procurement and purchasing. He brings his management experience in the chemical, wood products and heavy equipment sectors including such companies as Georgia Pacific, Willamette Industries, and Ross Corporation to NLI.
To augment the Quality Assurance Department, Andy Roche has joined the company as Process Improvement Specialist. His responsibilities include analysis of operational efficiencies and the research, development and implementation of process improvement programs.
